We are a 100% volunteer-run organization that is proud to empower our interns to take ownership of aspects of our program, not only for our organizational development but their own as well.  Interns are committed to monthly hands-on involvement at our program, as well as special projects for our organizational development.

Jenna Khoury is Oakland Youth Aspire's curriculum intern. She is a Senior at St. Mary's College of California and will be continuing her education in the Ph.D. program at Palo Alto University in the Fall. Her passion is working with children and loves being able to interact with them as much as she can. In the past she has worked in clinical and research settings where working with children was always part of the job. She hopes to be able to contribute as much as she can to OYA in the few months that she will be with them.
